Description

Add tremendous strategic flexibility by adding the Abbey & Mayor Expansion to Carcassonne. Players have more options with new tile pieces and three new player pieces. Plug holes in the board by filling spaces surrounded by tiles using Abbey tiles. Mayors help control cities by using coats of arms to determine strength. Barns synergize with farmers, enhancing the value of fields they occupy. Wagons are placed like followers but then move from one feature to the next after scoring. The Abbey & Mayor Expansion can be played on its own with the base game, or combined with other expansions.
